Terms of Use

These terms govern your use of 360username.com (the “Service”), operated by an independent developer. By using the Service you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. Plain-language summaries are given where the legal wording is unavoidable.

1. What the Service is

360username.com provides free tools for checking username availability across social platforms and domain registrars, generating name suggestions with AI, checking domains in bulk, and producing Unicode and invisible-character text. It also publishes guides about naming and digital identity.

No account is required and none is offered. You can use every tool anonymously.

2. Accuracy — read this one

Availability results are a strong signal, not a guarantee. We report what public platform and registrar responses tell us at the moment you search. A name shown as available may still be impossible to register because it is reserved, blocked, recently released from a suspended account, restricted in your region, or because someone claimed it between your search and your signup.

Nothing on this Service reserves, holds, or entitles you to any name, and we accept no liability for losses arising from a result that turns out to be wrong. Always confirm on the platform itself before you commit. Our about page sets out how the checks work and where the method has limits.

3. Availability is not legal clearance

A name being free to register says nothing about whether you may lawfully use it. It may still conflict with a registered trademark, a personality right, or another party’s established rights. The Service does not perform trademark searches and nothing on it is legal advice. If a name matters to your business, consult a qualified attorney before building on it.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Harass, stalk, impersonate, or intimidate anyone, or to locate a person against their wishes.
• Register names in bad faith in order to extort a trademark holder or resell to them — cybersquatting is unlawful in many jurisdictions.
• Buy, sell, rent, or broker platform accounts, which breaches the terms of nearly every platform.
• Scrape, mirror, resell, or automate access to the Service or its underlying endpoints beyond normal human use, or circumvent rate limits and bot protection.
• Attempt to reverse engineer, probe, or disrupt the Service or the systems it queries.
• Break any applicable law, or any third-party platform’s own terms.

We may rate-limit or block access that we reasonably believe falls into the above, and we do not owe notice before doing so.

5. AI-generated suggestions

Names produced by the generator are machine-generated from your keywords. They are not checked for trademark conflicts, offensiveness in other languages, or prior use, and identical suggestions may be generated for other people. You are responsible for reviewing any name before you adopt it. We make no claim to ownership of the suggestions the tool returns to you, and we grant no exclusivity over them.

6. Advertising and affiliate links

The Service is free and funded by display advertising, which is served by Google AdSense and its partners. Advertising is kept out of search results themselves, and no advertiser can pay to change what a tool reports. Some outbound registrar links may be affiliate links, which never affect results or the price you pay. The privacy policy explains the cookies involved and how to opt out of personalised advertising.

7. Intellectual property

The design, code, written guides, and branding of 360username.com belong to the site operator and are protected by copyright. You may quote short excerpts of our articles with clear attribution and a link. You may not republish articles wholesale, copy the site, or present our content as your own.

Platform names and logos shown in results belong to their respective owners. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or partnered with any of the platforms we check.

8. Third-party sites

Results link to social platforms and registrars we do not control. We are not responsible for their content, availability, pricing, or privacy practices, and following those links is at your own risk.

9. Service availability

The Service is provided free of charge and may be changed, interrupted, rate-limited, or discontinued at any time without notice. Individual platform checks can break when a platform changes its site, and some may be removed if they become unreliable. We do not promise any level of uptime.

10. Disclaimer of warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE”, WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

11. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE OPERATOR OF 360USERNAME.COM SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, GOODWILL, DATA, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE — INCLUDING RELIANCE ON AN AVAILABILITY RESULT.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, in which case the exclusions apply to the fullest extent permitted there.

12. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify the site operator against claims, losses, and reasonable legal costs arising from your misuse of the Service or your breach of these terms — for example, a trademark claim arising from a name you chose to adopt.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The “Last Updated” date above will change when we do, and material changes will be flagged on the site. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the revised terms.

14. Severability

If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest remain in full force, and the unenforceable provision is applied to the greatest extent permitted.
